This year
the event saw 33 players roll up for the day’s event.
The Open
players were sorted into two groups of 6 and one group of 7
and played on 2 boards each under the Round Robin format.
The “B” Grade players (14) played a knockout draw to a
Winner and Runner Up to go into the main draw. The cut was
to 8, made up of the first 2 of each Round Robin and 2 “B”
Grade players.

ultimate winner.

Kyle
Anderson (25.78) beat Dave Methven (25.55); 4 Sets to 1,
Dave did not get going early on and Kyle played steady
throughout the game.
Beau Anderson (27.53) beat Brad Austen (25.43); 4
sets to 2. This was a great contest throughout Beau had the
answers when needed. Brad had opportunities but could not
break through when it counted.

Kyle
Anderson (30.28 or 99.61) beat Beau Anderson (28.24 or
89.65) 5 sets to 2.This was a sensational game to watch and
a fitting finish to the 2009 Wyatt Transport Cup. There were
10 x 180 thrown by both players. Kyle 7 x 180’s including
back to back and Beau 3 x 180’s
The best 2
players were there at the end of the day and produced the
goods. Beau could not get into the same groove he had
earlier in the finals and Kyle was downright ruthless
towards his brother. Well done to both players.
